Sunday, February 5
We continue our exploration of the first chapter of Mark’s Gospel on Sunday, reading the story of the healing
of Simon’s mother-in-law and Jesus' time in “a deserted place” (Mark 1:29-39).
We will worship focused on the sense of “deserted place” as an opening for our clarity of purpose.
Following worship, the Pastoral Relations Committee will facilitate a conversation with Craig
in an effort to foster a healthy relationship between congregation and minister.

Join us on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday school and at 11:00 a.m. for our worship service.
9:45 am - Bible Study class for adults meets on the right side of the Fellowship Hall
10:00 a.m. - God is Still Speaking class for adults meets on the left side of the Fellowship Hall
10:00 a.m. - High School youth class meets in the narthex
9:45 a.m. - Child care available for children whose parents attend Sunday school
11:15 a.m. - Sunday school for elementary and middle school children after the Children's Time in worship

Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, Parkway UCC’s policy is to hold the worship service. Sunday school classes will be cancelled.
The parking lot may not be cleared of snow and ice by the start of the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Please carefully assess weather and travel conditions and use your judgment whether or not to attend the service.
