Worship
Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. Worship is available for viewing with live streaming, and worship services are occasionally in person in our Fellowship Hall. Please check our Facebook page or weekly emailed church announcements for updates about the location of worship. We are currently mask optional for worship participants.
In worship we blend traditional liturgical elements with unique appeals to the senses. We blend classical choral anthems with special musicians sharing folk, classical and gospel. Congregational singing blends classic hymns with spirituals, Taizé chant and folk tunes. We are a church which honors the contemplative traditions and silence, but also knows how to raise a joyful noise! We use inclusive language, strive to use language honoring other faith traditions, and use common ecumenical cycle for scripture readings.
On most Sundays we offer a celebration of communion, healing prayers with anointing, and an opportunity to light a candle during the closing song of worship. We celebrate Communion either by forming a circle around the perimeter of the sanctuary and passing the bread and cup or by coming forward to the front and
receiving the bread and cup from the pastor and lay leaders. All are welcome to celebrate Communion.
Children are welcome in the worship service. Activities packets are available in the back of the sanctuary for children and adults.

Regular Outdoor Worship Rituals
We gather to mark the Celtic wheel of the year with outdoor rituals on Wednesday evenings or Sunday afternoons. We offer ways to connect our spiritual journey with the change of the seasons at both solstices, both equinoxes, and the four half-way points between, or cross-quarters. We mark these times with elements of the earth, prompts for reflection, song, and some hands-on activity.
